John Christopher Depp II was born  June 9 1963 in Owensboro, Kentucky, U.S.

Johnny has partly cherokee-blood from his mother. His great-grandmother Minnie was a cherokee-Indian.

Johnny Depp grew up in Florida.

Depp had a relationship with Vanessa Paradis, they have  two children: a daughter,  Lily-Rose Melody, born in 1999 and a son,  Jack,  born in 2002. The couple broke up in 2013.

Johnny depp had many relationships with famous woman such as  Jennifer Grey, Winona Ryder and Kate Moss. He was married with Lori Anne Allison but they divorced in 1985.

His occupation is screenwriter, director, producer and even musican but he’s famous for being an actor.

Johnny Depp became famous for playing the leading role in movies such as A Nightmare on Elm Street and Edward Scissorhands. 

The 2003 Walt Disney Pictures film Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl was a major success.  The sequels Dead Man’s Chest (2006), At World's End (2007), and On Stranger Tides (2011) were also amazing.

Depp also starred as Willy Wonka in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory  and was nominated  for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy.

Depp played the title role of Sweeney Todd in Tim Burton's film adaptation of the musical and portrayed the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland.

His most recent films are The Lone Ranger and Dark shadows.
